This final installment of this star-studded version of The Traitors was uploaded in error by overseas broadcasters prior to its planned UK airing on Thursday night, as confirmed a network statement.
Reports indicate that the final was viewed by a few hundred subscribers of the online platform Crave in the North American country; these individuals could watch it for a short period before it was taken down.
This episode being uploaded was not considered a error by the original broadcaster, and a spokesperson for the company asked those who think they have discovered the outcome of the series to "avoid sharing any reveals".
"We urge anyone who believes they have uncovered the ending of The Celebrity Traitors to hold whatever they believe they know to themselves," the announcement read.
"Please avoid sharing potential spoilers so that the vast audience who have been faithfully following every twist and turn of the series can enjoy the final this evening."
This celebrity version is presently the most-watched TV program of the current year, with an average of 12.6 million viewers over the initial installments.
Viewers of the series have been eagerly anticipating to see whether deceivers the traitors will win the £100,000 for charity or whether faithfuls Joe Marler, Nick Mohammed and David Olosuga will be triumphant.
