Approximately twenty-five thousand homes in south-east Queensland were left experiencing outages on the start of the week after severe thunderstorms passed over the area, bringing wind gusts topping 109km/h.
Massive Ice Stones and Widespread Damage
Locals reported substantial frozen pellets reaching sizes of seven centimeters in particular locations. Meteorological experts verified that different parts across Queensland had been impacted by large hailstones.

At one point on yesterday, over twenty-eight thousand electricity consumers in Victoria were lacking electricity.

Humid circumstances were predicted to continue along significant areas of the state's eastern regions this week as a atmospheric system continued to attract humidity against the coastal areas.
Tomorrow was expected to become the most rainy day, with ongoing storm activity expected across various areas of both regions.
